Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Supporters worldwide joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Local celebrations featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the crowds, raising the championship trophy high.
