White House Denounces 'Democrat Hoax' as Additional Jeffrey Epstein Photos Released
Democratic lawmakers have released a additional set of what they labeled "troubling" images from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The initial drop of 19 images—a portion of which have been previously circulated—combined with another 70 unveiled later on Friday represent a tiny fraction of the almost 100,000 images handed over to the House investigative panel, which is probing the behavior and associations of Epstein.
The shamed investor died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking crimes.
Notable Figures in the Photos
Included in the high-profile individuals seen in the first release are well-known figures including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin business group.
Donald Trump appears in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are blacked out.
White House Response
The White House addressed the release in a statement, alleging Democrats of selectively "hand-picking" the pictures for electoral motives and to "seek to establish a false storyline."
"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been time and again refuted," an administration official said, asserting that "the Trump administration has achieved more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by frequently urging transparency, making public thousands of pages of documents, and urging further investigations into Epstein's Democratic associates."
Congressional Democrat Comment
The photos were published without context, but according to a Democratic representative from California and senior member of the investigative panel, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's connections to affluent people.
"It is time to stop this White House concealment and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he stated in a comment.
The disclosure of these materials comes as the House panel proceeding with its inquiry into the affair.
